Cwejman Knight Rider
As promised, Cwejman Knight Rider!!!
As a fan of the original TV series and theme song by Stu Phillips/Glen Larson, I wanted to give it a shot via the modular using only Cwejman and the MC-4. So I picked up the Piano Solo and begin to go to work. Only problem, I didn't have enough voices to record in one take!!!! So, I programmed the Bass parts in the TB-303. All other voices are coming from the modular and maybe they sound to 'clean'? Well.....I was just going for the piano solo after all ;)
Before even starting this patch I tuned all voices to A 440Hz. After set-up to get the basic sound I routed to different modules for some flavor. The end result of the patch is what you see pictured below. I've also provided a FULL PDF copy of my MC-4 programming if you want to give this a shot (MC-4 or MC-8 users) but just remember it doesn't contain the Bass part. I also have some vids of the production and maybe I'll upload these later. Any questions let me know. ENJOY!!
Song/Patch Notes
- Played/recorded live - 2 takes. The modular and TB-303 parts were recorded separately as I couldn't align the tracks up if synced from the MC-4 with the computer at the same tempo.
